What range should I expect from an XKey smart lock?

The standard XKey smart strike has a range of around 5-6M when installed in an aluminum door frame.

The range should be slightly longer when in a wooden or steel door frame.

If range is an issue - the strikes are available in a long range version, with mini high gain antennae.
